I've heard that some Ford engines, the V8s in the Crown Vics, can be tuned to 400HP. Considering that these cars come with about 250HP stock. Thats what a mechanic that used to work at Ford told me. So maybe there might be some way to reprogram the new NSX motor to produce high horsepower numbers like the F1s. But that F1 engine was pretty damn impressive, i especially like the red exhaust manifolds. There is something about red exhaust manifolds that i like. And it has O2 sensors.

18,000 RPM is impressive out of any engine in an automobile. That is prolly the reason why those engines are amazing.

 

that was amazing. i never knew a piston could move up and down 300 times in one second. i cant even comprehend that. and 18000 rpms is unbelieveable. if i ever become rich and powerful im totally buying a F1 car

FYI....the ford 460 was commonly boosted to 1000 hp
