Hold up, $1200 for a B18B? What the hell are you smoking? I htink you have stars in your eyes about the GSR tranny.
This is quoted from a PM from him, now this is on a forum that is the largest and longest running honda forums on the net and he has been a mod for the past 3 years and counting. I have bought plenty of stuff off him in the past so he is not bs'n me on the tranny or anything. He is going to do a H22 swap and I caught him saying that and I jumped on it like stink on **** being I know he takes very good care in his mods and with the stuff he usses. I bought a set of axels off him because I snapped one when I was boosted and he swore they had like 75,000 miles on em but you look at em and you would think they came strait from Napa.

Anyway here is the quote.

How about $1200...here is what it will include:

1) OBD2 B18B longblock complete with sensors, intake, t/b, rail, injectors, distributor, flywheel...
2) 3" generic intake pipe
3) Ebay stainless 4-2-1 header.
4) GSR hydro transmission
5) Civic Si shift linkage
6) All mounts for EK, including P7J a/c bracket to keep your stock a/c

It won't have an ecu, you will have to decide what you want anyhow depending on what's legal for you. It can be run on a 96-99 P75 with sensors all hooked up, or you can do OBD1 conversion and run the OBD1 P75 or chipped P06. It will probably need the clutch replaced, it still grabs good but I think one of the springs on the disc is broke, it rattles.

I wasn't doubting him, I just think it's too much. There is a guy selling a B18B locally for $250,and you can get the whole swap from Sunrise for $600.

use the SiR head. flows better than the B18C. plus i know you love boost so i know you're going to be doing that. the SiR has lower compression than the B18C.

That swap from sunrise is either without a tranny(engine only) or it has a LS tranny. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a GSR, ITR, or B16 one thats worth a crap and two is for a reasonable price. I am also getting mounts, axels, si shift linkage, and the a/c bracket to retain a/c if I wanted to(which I dont)

yeah the tranny, and mounts themselves are almost enough to add up to 1200 bucks, I'd say its a pretty good deal considering what you're getting with it.
