Does more money spent on the girlfriend in turn result in more putting out?

Because... the more money you spend on your engine, the more it puts out... in power that is.

Tough one. I'd say buy her something nice if she is ok with the time you spend with your car. if she's the type that complains about everything, buy her a nice glass of shut the hell up with with a spoon full of make me a damn sandwich.

it depends on the girl. if she's not a material girl, spend more on the car than her, shell still be there. i spend most of my money on clothes, shoes, car, than i do on her but she doesnt care. just make sure you buy her nice things once in a while. for example, anniversary gifts, christmass, birthday. imo

From the way it sounds you dont need to spend it on either, pay your bills, get gas, and save as much as you can as you never know about job status or whether or not you will get sick for a couple days and make your check slack enough to put you into a bind.

Seriously. Dont just spend money just to spend it especially if your on a tight budget. Save alittle more than do something. If you really like the girl than get her something, necklace or something. Just keep saving. Thats what I do and I have money in my savings and about $800 in my safe in my room, going to buy the wife an engagement ring for xmas . Keep saving man; make a list of things you want with prices and look forward to saving for them. Dont get kicked out of house for not paying bills!

^^+1 for Mr. Responsible....all too often I used to spend to my limit and then something would come up...doesnt have to be a sick day....fuel pump could go out...could toss a timing belt...number of things.

but the "spoon full of make me a damn sandwhich" sounds nice...hehe
