Wii losing it's novelty?

RE: Wii losing it's novelty?
I just dont understand how people can justify pouring as much money as people do into video games. It has nothing to do with my age either, I'm only 25 but with gas being $4 a gallon, milk being $5 a gallon, and damn near every product on the market being marked up because of the U.S. economy/falling value of the U.S. dollar it is hard out here to just get by let alone get by and also paying $300 to $500 for a gaming consol, anywhere from $50 to $100+ for controllers, and $35 to $65 for each game I mean come on.....it sits there and you play games on it, think how childish that sounds and looks.
The world is a big place, plenty of things to do, there are plenty of people worth spending time with rather than staying in a house and playing games. Hell go out and learn something, put that money towards college if you have the time and extra cash on your hands. I'm not downing anyone but to me it just seems much more mature and alot less wastefull to not even mess with video games.

Yeah.. I sold my N64 for $200 with about 40 games, and my PS2 with about 30 games for $300. Trying to sell my XBOX with about 15 games. I figured, why bother having something i'll NEVER play again.. Especially when I have a N64 and PS emulator on my computer.
