This was my first car, before this I owned Jeep Cherokee's, the day I bought it I was on my way to Philly to buy another Jeep Cherokee; I saw it said what the hell I'll give it a shot took it for a test drive and loved it. It was clean, low low miles (had 24k when I bought it april 05), nicely tinted and a decent price. So that day I put a down-payment on it and went back the next morning and bought it outright. And as much trouble it has caused me lately (those who know, know; if you don't check out the DIY 7th gen IM swap), I still love it.

 

because i wanted a dependible car

 

reliability and great on gas.

 

In order: High MPG, high resale value (yeah i never thought i'd stay w it this long, I was gonna sell it by the same price i got it), reliable, moddable, shape (hate ugly car).

 

I wanted something smaller, more fuel effecient, cool looking, and that I could mod cheap and get into the high 13's. I figure with the Si, it shouldnt be hard to meet this goal with a S/C'r and simple bolt ons. The Silverado SS I had before was quick, but took up the whole garage and 75 bucks to fill up.

i got my coupe because my wife when i dated her had this beat up high milage 92 hatch it needed everything but wouldn't die and we had to give it to her mom and last month i got it back so for me it was reliability and they are great on gas

 

great car to get into the import secene on. i wanted something that was good on gas and dependible for my travels between home and college. plus they can turn into neat little cars

From reading these posts, we all knew what we wanted and the civic was the best car to get. Love my civic just so many thing that you can do to it.

 

driving 100 miles / day I needed something with great gas milage and reliable as hell.. didn't really think about modding it until early this spring. now I'm addicted.
