I got a civic becasue it was baught for me on my birthday and ever sence then my civic is getting better and better.

 

got my civic because it gets good mileage, looks ok, and relatively easy to mod.

 

i didn't get one (yet) but I will because, iv'e always been in love with hondas, civics beat the living crap out of VW's, and they can get as fast as anything. (Not to mention the visual aspect.)

 

I have always been a honda man. Got my first one when I was 17. It was a 87 accord. Ran great no problems. When I got it had 217,000 miles on it drove it till about 260,000. Traded it for a tv for my bro. I wanted a truck. Should have stayed with honda. It didn't hold up to well. It was a nissan. Got a 96 accord ran great. Got activated sold to my mom and which was given to my bro. wich is working on modding it. Got back from Iraq and was looking for an accord ex. Dealership didn't have one and asked exactly what I was wanting. He told me about the new Si and I fell in love with it on the first drive. Later on I am going to mod it even if it is 5-10 years from now. I am thinking of an engine swap to a k24. Other than that haven't looked into it much. Really just getting into modding and at the moment learning as much as I can so when the time comes I will be ready.

 

i was a freshmen in highschool and i was in the automotive 1 program and there was this kid in there that had this anodized adjustable cam gear in his hand and he was showing everybody it. During class he had his 91 ef si hatchback outside that had some good motor mods, lowered to the ground, and an exhaust system on it. I was walking home one day just by the school and i see him coming down the road after school stopping at the t-intersection i was standing at. I walked up to his car and asked for a ride home, he said sure because he ust to live in the neighborhood that i live in now. I got in and we took off and i just loved the way it sounded and the looks that we getting as we drove down the street and i also loved how he had to slow way down for dips turning onto side streets. And that is about it i did a little bit of research and found out that the 5 gen civic hatchbacks were just what i was looking for, About a month before i was turning 16 i was calling around about 92-95 hatchbacks and found a few but wasnt what i was looking for. We were on our way home and stopped by the honda dealership that i called earlier and they said they had a civic they just got in but didnt know if they were gonna keep it. So we stopped in after they were closed and I laid my eyes on my dream civic. We looked at it and it look in extremely good shape. So we came back the next day and took if for a test drive and nothing was wrong with it. So we told them to hold it and the next day we came and picked it up and i drove it home and lets just say it doesnt even look close to what it did stock.... COULDNT BE HAPPER

 

I just got my civic about 20 days ago, and I had no intentions on buying one. I was looking for a 3rd gen integra, but couldn't find a good one for the price around here in Manitoba. A lady had some ads posted up on a 98 honda civic for 10 grand so I thought woah thats damn expensive.. anyways I checked it out and to my suprise it was a SI, a few days later and I was a proud civic owner! paid 10 grand which is steep but it was garage kept and nearly mint with a few scratches with 108,800KM on the odometer. and the reason why I got the civic is cuz they are damn sexy! My mom wants to trade cars and payments and she has a 04 chrysler sebring touring edition. Hell no.

 

Gas mileage...Reliability...and there is just so much COOL stuff you can do to them when you get tired of being just another sheep!

I like the looks of it (01 EX Sedan), the way you can customize it , the reliabilty, and the most important it was a 5 speed.
