Why did my 500 dollar Carbon Fiber hood have to crack up from the sun, even after I kept it waxed the heat still cracked it up. WHY, WHY I ask you? But good thing I kept my OEM hood.

The real "why" you should be asking is why did you buy a $500.00 carbon fiber hood. You payed $500 to save like 10 lbs and it cracked.

AWWWW... I appreciate your concern on how I spend MY money, I will spend my money any way I want and the Hood was not an OEM style hood for Weight it was the invader style for for looks and I bought it when that style first came out.

Maybe not 10 exactly, but it isn't gonna save you like 100 lbs. My guess is that itll save you a max of like 30lbs. It really isn't worth it. I would only consider carbon fiber after i have installed absolutly every other performance part i could find and i stripped the interior. Think about what you could get for $500. I think a simple nitrous set up runs like $600 and that will give you alot better times than losin 20-30lbs.
