not a big fan of Slipknot, but Adrenaline was the first cd i ever bought with my own money. i was only five. haha.

dont like FOB, but i like AAR and Hawthorne, and i used to live for Saosin and the Used. Emery is pretty sweet too




guys...you people who say new music sucks technically...check out Dream Theater. every musician in the band is so technically gifted and talented that it will make even the snobbiest jazz buff sweat. the best instrumental IMO is Stream of Conciousness off of Train of Thought. another great one is Dance of Eternity off of Scenes From a Memory. seriously...these guys are so awesome at what they do they make Van Halen look like a two year old on guitar.

dont take my word for it...check them out.

Nail speaks the truth, check out dream theatre if you have ANY fraction of doubt that there is still techinical music out there. Those guys are absolutely SICK!
