We are doing nothing in the Middle East but pissing more people off which in turn makes for more potential terrorist attacks against us. The only 2 reason we keep our noses buried over there are oil and Israel. Israel has made it perfectly clear that they can and will stand up for themselves and we have the ability to get all the oil we need on North America. We need to totally withdraw all troops from all countries, stack them on our borders(which would also help with the illegal's problem we have), regroup our resources, and build this country back into the powerhouse we once were.

Oh and I wouldnt really say that middle easten countries are our buddies. America is far closer to one middle easten country (Israel) than we are to any.
