WHO HERE LIKES SUSHI?

RE: WHO HERE LIKES SUSHI?
I like the cooked stuff I tried a salmon roll once and it didn't really taste like much, plus I'd rather leave the room in my stomach for the stuff I liked more.
Sushi rolls are the best, then crunch rolls, then California rolls. There's an all-you-can eat sushi/Japanese food buffet in the mall here, you have to plan your day (and food intake) around it to justify the cost, but hot dang, it's good.

I feel really fortunante to live in Seattle, cause we have awesome seafood. Especially sushi. I've never been to a bad sushi place around here. I'm not so much a fan of any of the rolls, though, I like the Nigiri (which is just the ball of rice, wasabi, and the fish) the toro, or fatty tuna, is my favorite, but all of it is really good, I usually also get crab (which IS cooked,) tuna, salmon, eel, ebi (shrimp,) and yellow tail. For dessert I get a couple of the ones with sweet egg instead of fish, it's so nummy. I could eat sushi and crab for the rest of my life.

Hey Psycho, If you ever come up to Sac, we have to go to Mikunis. Its is freakin awesome! I love sushi. But if youve never had it, youve got to start at a good place, and with some one whos had it before helps. I mean the stuff you buy pre-made at the grocer is ok, but you have to have real sushi before trying that stuff. if its less than $8-10 per plate, its not going to be a good place to start( and youll probably eat more than one plate). last time we went, it was about $140 for 5 people. but I almost couldnt walk out of the restaurant. Its so easy to over-eat. and that Edemame is hella good too, once you start eating them. mmm, I hella want sushi now.

RE: WHO HERE LIKES SUSHI?
As for sushi, my rich as hell uncle took me out for sushi once, but I was only about 13. He said it was the best place in town to get sushi, and I didnt think it was all that great, although for the two of us it ran him about a hundred bucks. Maybe it was just that I was a really picky eater back then, or that I didnt like the kind he got for me. I havent tried it since, but then again I havent really had an oppurtunity, no one I know eats it.

i don't care what they eat, they still taste good. and if it wasn't good for you to eat the shell fish then why do people eat it?
