they've actually had a drug since the 60's that when tested on rats decreased tumors by 90% in something like 3 days. and your rant is exactly what i have been saying for years...
I'ts like Global warming, it's just another "We're all going to die" scare that is gettting people to invest money and making "researchers" rich

i bet that my rant is longer than yours...
How about a little segment? Cancer exists because doctors WANT it to exist. Think about the billions of dollars paid to doctors and specialists for treating cancer patients, as well as "research" people. Who would pay for all of those high end luxury cars if those doctors couldnt pretend to keep looking for a cure that they dont want to find, because theyll be out of work. Seriously, consider it...say that you make 7 figures treating people who have cancer. It doesnt matter if you screw up at your job, because sooner or later, many of your patients die...are you really going to push for something that is going to take away the people who keep you busy, and keep you making those 7 figures? hell no...
I dont doubt for a SECOND that there are more useful ways to treat cancer patients, but the fact that there are quacks all over the world filling their pockets due to the awful disease, there will never be any real strides made for a cure...unless there is a way to have someone who isnt benefitting from the disease trying to find a cure, but the people "trying to find a cure" are basically getting paid to keep failing, so what benefit is there to them to cure it? None.
It would be like goodyear inventing a tire that never wears out.
