We're suppose to talk about things, not flame each other as you seem to like to do.

 

i thought it was because on older vehicles where the hub assembly poked through the wheel...like on older, say ford trucks...the center is actually part of the hub assembly, so when you looked at the center mounting section which contained part of the diff., then you had the outer pull off section, which was the rim of the wheel....and then people got lazy and just called it the rim.

 

same reason we call aluminium, aluminum. we change things to how we like them in this country. i guess people just thought it was easier to say rims than wheels.

 

well where did DUBS Come from?

i remember the first one, an 86 civic si hatch with a 50 shot, managed low 15's.

 

the first sport compact that i recall was a neon 4 door...it was lowered and had alot of work done to it..running low 12s on heavy nos...

 

ive been helpin friends out under the hoods of their cars for a year and a half now...im not fifteen till july
