RE: When are you planning to/when did you...
i moved out at 18 then moved back in at 19. then i met my wife at 20 and i lived in an apartment with her for a year. i dont like the whole payin an a$$load of money for nothing so i bought a house. my interest rate is low and ill hopefully have it payed off by the time i hit 40. living at home is alright cuz most everything is free but when your on your own you can do whatever, whenever. plus its probably the best investment you could ever make.

I'm with Mills, I still live at home too. I love it here. Im 28 and I have no bills, I am in back in school again (for my third degree, LOL) and get to focus only on it. I love my parents and we get along great. I may move out next year because I got a job making about $25 an hour. I figure that if I stay here I wont have any bills and I can save up money so that when I move out I will have a saftey net. But I dont know. I am happy right now and havent really thought about it.

im 18 and still live at home...gonna do my first of university at home then probably move out
mill 30 might be pushing it imo....not only would your parents probably start wanting you to leave the coop at like 25 (even if they dont mention it to you) but for the whole girl situation and stuff...the worst thing in the world is when a girl at a club is ready to be taken home, annnnd u gotta sneak into the basement not to wake ur parents lol

I'm 22, still stuck at home. It's not "bad" living here, but I've never had my own space and while I'm always welcome to have friends over, there's something that cramps your style about your mom standing in the kitchen watching everything or pulling you aside and asking if you like any of the boys (um, no thanks mom, that's my business).
Anyway, I'm in the process of buying a condo and should find out later this week if I got it. If I did, I'll be moving mid-late January. I can't wait to move and have a place of my own...party at Shelle's...

I'm 21 and I mean part of me wants to leave, but another part of me is saying that if they're cool with it stay until you're really ready to leave. I mean, Rent alone here in NY is from $800 up a month. It's insane. I'm kinda looking to move down South in the future. Not just because it's cheaper there but I have family down there and I'm just kinda sick of the NY atmosphere. But I guess time will tell.
