At what point can you stop calling your car a civic? one guy spent 14 large on his car. is it still a civic? after the body kits and all the replacements inside the car and under the hood can't we start calling it something different? shouldn't you be able to rename your car since you basically designed it? it started off as a civic, but is it still a civic?

as long as the vin number says its a civic and the insurance company lists it as a civic then i will consider it a civic.

Its a civic and I love to tell people its a civic.... You wouldnt believe how many times I hear this exact comment...

"Wow. Thats Amazing I really like it...... What is it? LOL When that happens Iam proud to say "Its a Civic" and smile. The 2nd question I always get asked goes like this... I beat a V8 in a race. Let them catch up and talk and I hear....

"What the hells in that thing??!!" and my response is always the same.... "Just a little 1.6 liter" my 2nd most comment response is "New Battery" with a smile....

I love my Civic.

While I wait for an anwser I will make a few posts. A Civic is a Civic, as soon as you drop a body kit or a loud *** annoying muffler it is than a ricer and prey for my Caddy.

Nobody ever knows what my car is, especially the older generation. Is that a "_______ "? Nope it's a Honda Civic..... But yes, a Civic will always be a Civic no matter how we disguise them.

Unless you got some SERIOUS upgrades, then yes it is. We both know, of course, that majority of import cars with body kits and mufflers have very little under the hood.
