its kind of our father son bonding time.
I'm not gonna lie, I always thought you were a girl, dunno why.

Anyways, for me I was always into cool cars... Lamborghinis always facinated me. I became interested in import cars when I was on vacation in Cape Cod and I was reading some magazine and they took a CRX and modded it up and showed how much performance you can get with like 8 grand or something like that. Two years later I turned 16 and bought a Civic.

I have always been into transportation.....my dad used to build VWs and such in the early 70's and when I was old enough to know what a phillips screwdriver I was helping. (I remember he re-built a V-8 engine in the living room floor when I was 4) I learned to drive my dad's 3 spd. jeep in the woods when i was 12......and was driving in rush hour traffic in Nashville at 14. I did the household oil changes from the time I was 15.....did all of the maintenance on my dad's vehicles.....I really enjoyed it. My dad refused to do anything for me and would just help me and guide me while working on the cars. It built a real confidence.

Oh..and in case you are all wondering....I would rather push a FORD than to drive a Chevrolet!

Always and forever. My dad is a mechanic, so he got started teaching me early, starting from the inside out. My first "job" was helping him rebuild the dual 750s off his old Cutlass 442 project, bored and blown. That's my first real car work memory, and I was about 5 1/2. I rebuilt my first bottom end ('79 350 in a Cheyenne Super) at age 7, pretty much unassisted. He started giving me my own independent workload in the shop when I was in 8th grade, and I officially became partial owner during my junior year of high school.

honestly...more than 70 for me. prolly closer to 85. it depends on the time. in class, im always thinking about what i could do to my car...never pay attention in class (could explain a couple of my grades). but when im with my girlfriend nothing is on my mind but her.
