Im an insurance claim adjuster for The Hartford Insurance Group. I handle total losses. I tell you what your car is worth and you agree then I issued a check.

yea, my uncle got droped because he 1. hit a deer. 2. was involved in a mad hail storm. then 3. his parked car got hit....only one was his fault, the other 2 he wasnt even in his car, they paid him though, then they droped him...and he got a new co. and found out he was getting robbed. he saved like $600 a year, or somthing, i dont rember.

You may just want to read the policy language on your Stated Value.
IF I remember correctly the stated value policies are written as "the stated value or ACV.....the lesser of the 2." You MAY want to check that and go speak to your agent.
