I'm gonna have to agree with Forty that Wheezer sucks. EXCEPT Island in the Sun. I love that one.

As for my suggestions... anything techno/trance/electronica/dance-ish is good for a party and generally non-offensive all around. I mostly listen to c89.5 which is a local dance music station around here. The link is to a list of their most popular songs, which would give you a good basis for a cd or 3.

 

mmm 311, the newest CD Don't tread on me is great for chillin but beware of the older stuff from Music or Grassroots unless it's edited.

Incubus - Morning view is a great album too

 

I know, I have the same problem. I usually listen to metal/alternative/etc. I'm also going to mix some classic rock in because I like it

 

also look into some Alien Ant Farm _they have a wicked sweet cover of smooth criminal. the Starting line - kinda younger emo-ish music but is fun to listen to. Ben Folds has some good stuff. Jimmy Eat World. Matisyahu - he is amazing,

 

Rap is my party muzic, but chilli peppers or Dave is good chill music

+1 the only really nonheavy metal that i would suggest would be finger eleven but i am not a partier so i would also be the wrong person to ask lol

i listen to hardcore so i doubt i could help you out but when me n my friends drink we listen to rich girl by hall and oates and buttercup by the temptations(drunken karaoke is a blast)
