were kinda going along the same lines...i feel how you feel to some extent. i guess its in the gray area where we differ. i dont want to die, im also a very happy person with almost basically nothing to complain about. i just dont really fear death for some reason, if it happens it happens, lights out, end of story. i guess it kinda goes along with my stance on religion (which id rather not get into haha)... i guess my fear would be dying unhappy, if i die early but with a bang, doing what i love and having done what i wanted all my life, that will be just fine.

i guess thats a good word for it. i fear the unknown. maybe thats why i love to learn and understand as much as possible.

I'm not afraid of death because I know what will happen... i just dont want to be alone. I told my wife that if she dies I want to beat her by a couple minutes because I think I would be able to orient myself quick enough to make her feel adjusted. She has anxiety problems so I figure I could take some stress off her... besides the fact that she just found out she is dead!

Than to fear death, just don't try to understand it.
As a christian, I'm not afraid of death at all...except when having very fun and good times.
