Electronic music is my first love; everything but rave: Breaks, Trance, Big Beat, Techno, House, Club, Goa, DnB, Four to the Floor, Psy, Trip Hop... you name it, I'll throw it on the ones and twos (cliche, I know, for anyone who knows electronic music...)
After that, QUALITY rock. None of this whiny new-age emo/screamo/hardcore/metal s**t.
Audioslave, 311, RATM, Incubus, Soundgarden, Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins, APC, Blindside, Orgy, Alice in Chains, Deftones, Eve 6 to name a few
And of course, timeless bands like Zepplin, Leppard, The Who, etc.

Christian music is my favorite: Listening to Rebecca St. James right now, her newest album "If I Had One Chance to Tell You Something"
Also like Avalon, Third Day, DC Talk and a few others.
As for other types of music, New Age and Classical.
And no, I am not some old fogey. I am only 28. Just have different tastes then most guys around here in Oregon from what I can see.

well i live in the country but really dont like country music that much. mostly alternative - 3doors down, nickelback, stuff like that. some rap is ok but i cant listen to it all day long.

There is very little rap that I actually get into, I like the older stuff like Mobb Deep, and weird stuff like Dr. Octagon.

i dont like rap music, the only thing close to rap that i like would be linkin park, and that is it.

i like the metal like soilwork, disturbed, v shape mind. I also like the emo/ screamo like underoath, the bled, coheed and cambria, motion city soundtrack, and jimmy eat world. my favorite band is 311
