Yeah, I do it all the time too! In fact, it's 60 and sunny out right now... I wonder if they have any Si's in stock over at the dealer. Hmmmm, I'm outta here.
this kinda reminds me of skytanker2003 when he said

I have a slight case of ADD (I think) that makes me all of a sudden stop whatever I'm doing and do something else...Like, I'll be in the middle of a movie at home...I will pause it and just get up and leave (most of the time to go driving.) I feel a case of that coming on now...So I'm gonna leave work now!
lol that was funnn7y i can just see that hapening
I actually just went. They didn't have one outside for test drives but I gave the one they had a good looking over... they're pretty sweet.

PS. MD... you've been kind of a downer lately man. The ITR is definitely a fun drive, expesially if you drive stockish Civics like the majority of us around here. Just because it doesn't have 300hp doesn't mean it's not a fun car to take a loop around town in.

I really see no point in being so excited about a ITR, they are nothing more than a integra with 165ish whp and around 115wtq. In stock form they are nothing
Ignorance is bliss.

For anyone who owns a Civic or anything comparable on our side of the water, an ITR will be pretty damn exciting.

^ Yeah, exactly... It's also a lot more than "just an integra with 165whp" The suspension is different, bigger brakes, bigger wheels, stiffer chassis...

I'd put money on it around a tight track over a comaro or firebird.

Yes, I realize that. But a lot of people here don't. And like amg said, I'd put my money on an ITR over an F-body on a moderate road course. They're just more fun to drive, even if you can't go sideways.

And just out of curiousity (serious question), have you ever driven an ITR?

Yes I have, they are nice cars to start with. Do not throw off on the F-Bodies handling to much as the Formula's that were geared towards autocross in stock form pulled around a .91g on a skidpad. IIRC the ITR pulls around a .88 or a .89. The F-Body cars can handle in the right hands, unlike alot of cars you cant just hammer on em all the time. You have to pay attention in the curves. No doubt that the ITR is a great car as far as honda's go but a S2K will rip on it in any road course setting. To me FF cars can only offer so much in the way of handleing in respects to making big power and still being able to do it.

That is why I have wondered away from fwd cars and both of the cars I have now that I drive atleast are RWD. I got the F body to handle ok and I just bought a Buick Rgal to handle drag race duties.

Both very true, although the price tag on the S2K sits well above an ITR most of the time.

me and my brother tried to test drive a 04 sti and they would not let him and hes 25. the salesman apparently said no one can test drive them because they have this computer in them that ajusts to different drivers and that we would screw it up if we test drove it and didnt buy it. i think thats alot of B.S. thats so sick how you got to test drive one though. thanks for all the replies.

A ITR is not all that great in stock form to drive so IMO if you are going to try and test drive a car I would go check out a STi or EVO. You will nut yourself, I drove a 04 sti and loved it but my bank account didn't
