what do you think my chances are for test driving an 01 acura integra type r? I dont have the money to buy it being that i just bought a 1998 honda civic ex two door coupe, but the dealer does not have to know that. dealers have let me test drive other cars such as vw gti, and tons of different honda civics. i just want to test drive it for fun and i have never seen a real type r around here in md. Thanks

I'm not going to lie, I've done it before. You give them your driver's license and/or credit card, and they give you the keys and a full tank of gas.

Just bounce from car lot to car lot, test driving whatever we wanted (or I guess whatever they would allow us to take)

 

A ITR is not all that great in stock form to drive so IMO if you are going to try and test drive a car I would go check out a STi or EVO. You will nut yourself, I drove a 04 sti and loved it but my bank account didn't

 

Yeah, I do it all the time too! In fact, it's 60 and sunny out right now... I wonder if they have any Si's in stock over at the dealer. Hmmmm, I'm outta here.

hey Honda97 i didnt know u were from maryland! i always see comercials for those car sellers. a friend and i went to try and test drive an RSX-S the other day and they wouldnt lets us do it alone because there insurance would cover since were between 18-25 years old. we just left since its no fun driving it with a dealer sitting in the passenger seat....

 

I really see no point in being so excited about a ITR, they are nothing more than a integra with 165ish whp and around 115wtq. In stock form they are nothing
