to me rice is the unpainted body kit(notice body kit, not lip kit), huge exhaust that looks like a coffee can, five foot high spoiler, neon.
example:

and then you have what i like to call CAF or Clean As Fu*k

just my opinion

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, I give you a collection of nothing but rice to view. Study them, ponder their existence. Try not to throw up.

They're comfortable cars and I like the interior, but I hate the sports package or whatever exterior. Large wings from the factory are cool on some cars (04-07 STI, Evo, 2000 Cobra R, etc), but not on a FWD car.

reaper is dead on. totally agree with the whole wing thing. my friend has a 94 integra with a built B18, and that thing lookkksssssss ssoooooo sexy without a wing, vs. the other integras

Yup. Wingless or low-profile wings > park benches.

The appearance is the only thing keeping me from slapping a fully-functional (as in wind-tunnel tested) 2000 Cobra R wing on my car. I might have a RWD car, and I might be modifying it for aero purposes, but I just can't get over having a bookshelf bolted to my trunk.

hmm if i was you IMHO, i wouldnt. wingless look just looks... sexy. so streamlined. and for a rear wing dont you need to be goin like around a 100mph, through a turn for it to make a noticeable???

Nope, aerodynamics come into play at under highway speeds if the car is properly set up. I've spent a lot of time researching aerodynamics in my free time... definitely some cool stuff to learn about.

The car's going to be set up as a highway cruiser, so having a front splitter, full belly pan, rear diffuser, and wing would be nice, but I think I can live without a wing. Or maybe get the 00R wing and another more subtle one (like the saleen one I'm looking at) and just swap 'em out for DD'ing and highway cruising (I'm doing the same thing with front splitters since the one I'm getting is going to be about 2" off the ground, if not lower).

Anyway, we're kind of getting off-topic. If you want to keep discussing the 'stang, hit up my project thread.
