Default Weight and stopping distance

I have seen this thread posted elsewhere and thought it might stimulate some discussion here. Many will know the answer, but it's funny to see some of the answers that people have and think they are right even though they are blatantly wrong. Given that two vehicles have very strong breaks (enough to lock up the tires), equal weight transfers, and the like, which would stop in a shorter distance, a lighter or heavier car?

HAHA i guess i didn't clarify, if they were going the same speed, which would stop faster, the lighter or heavier car.

This is a dificult question there are 2 schools of thought i come up with #1 the lighter car has less inerta and less to slow down and thus would stop faster #2 the heavier car is has more weight to the tires but more inertia

they will stop in the same distance

If everything is the same: tires, brake size and type.... The lighter one will stop faster due to higher acceleration. Learn some physics yo
