Ok guys if you have seen me posting before my wife was getting 95 Honda Civic Ex. We flew up to Minnesota and drove it back yesterday and into this morning, to there at about 10am, and got back home to Pittsbugh at about 5am, talk about along *** drive, but you couldnt beat the 33mpg average we got. So much better than my Camaro.. Well its here parked outside, you couldnt beat a car that had a new engine in it for around 2k. Now I need some help, its got a full exhaust but the can on the back is just toooooooooo big, how do i down grade but keep the sound. Also how do i know what tail lights fit, it needs new ones. I know I have to get one for a 3 door hatch back, but how do i know ehn they day 3 door hatch its mine thats the coupe and not the one that has the flat tailgate looking back. I NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!! PLEASE !!!!!!! Thanks guys I'll have pics posted later in the week.

 

either get a different muffler or get smaller piping

 

What's wrong with big exhaust pipes? I'm putting four inch duals on my civic.

i was thinking the same thing

 

1 inch pipes is not that big, i know people that are running 3 and 4 inch exhausts w/o mufflers or cats. What is wierd is a dual exhaust. It serves no purpose in a I-4 cylinder engine.

 

but with a 4 inch exhaust there would be absolutely NO backpressure, and therefore he would lose more power then he would be innicially gaining
