maybe because they sound nothing like they did when they first came out. a lot of bands are falling victim to that...rhcp, ah crap, i can't think of any others.

Blink... Their new stuff is actually good in its own right though, Green Day is just going to more of a pop-punk sound.

blink-182 was awesome...i must say i liked their last cd, even tho it was more of an emoish cd than a punk cd. in fact...i liked good charlottes first cd...it was pretty good...but then their drummer left and they sucked and now that their second drummer has left and theyve gotten a third one...just...ugh...but their first cd was good.
other bands that fall victim to this trend is My Chemical Romance (i used to love them...cant stand them now), The Used (but their music is still good...), Green Day (as mentioned before), Coheed and Cambria (theyre the ****), Fall Out Boy, Hawthorne Heights, Taking Back Sunday (still like them), ...all these bands i used to like...and most of them i dont like anymore cuz the media and mainstream followers are getting them overplayed and im sick of them.
i must say...i still like The Used, TBS, and Coheed and Cambria (i found coheed and cambria on purevolume in 2001 and TBS in 2000...so theres no way id ever not like 'em).
