Why dont you run the higher compression stroked 361 in the Demon? To me it seems a better setup as the Demon is bound to be lighter than the Mirada.

the mirada is so hacked up already...no heater box, no wipers, no carpeting, etc..the demon is lighter, but its also alot more valuable, and in better shape, for the most part..so i would rather run the mirada and have the demon for a daily driver...plus, im tired of driving a 15 second car or 14 second truck, when i have a 12 second car in pittsburgh...i dont want the demon to become another car that i buy parts for an drive once every two months.

we are looking now at building the stroker for the mirada, then once that is done, we will basically do a side by side swap...the mirada motor into the demon, and the stroker into the mirada.

once we buy our next new car, probably the challenger, i will gradually do more to the demon, but for now, i want a car that is easily street driven, and running in the 12s. that same engine ran 12.60s with a 4.10 gear and 3000 stall...the demon currently has a 373, but it may end up with a 410...were not sure yet...but even with the 373s, the fact that its about 800lbs lighter than the mirada was with that same setup and times, it should run alright.

on a side note, we found this stroker application in the book, and on a 4.04 bore 340 it makes it a 368...with the bore of 4.07 it would be around a 374..
