where are going for basic training? i wish you a good journey in your millitary service. one thing about the army take this from me a army veteran, if the drill seargent doesn't know you to well at the end of basic training then you've done a job well done. when i was in i kept my mouth shut and followed orders. trust me it will make life quite a bit easier in basic. oh yeah don't try to take cookies from the mess hall, it's not worth the torment. chew the gum in the MRE's or you'll be backed up for about 4 or 5 days. just remember to stay strong mentally and basic will be a piece of cake.

The oerks of the army is great. if you have ever considered it you, should go see and army recruiter the opportunities are limitless. the way i have it figured between the tuition assistance program, MGIB, base salary, insurance, provided food, and other perks i will be making over 42K per yr for 4 yrs. thats great at 19 yrs old. isnt it? and what do i hafta spend it on? I get free meals, free room and board.
I hafta buy toiletries but i barely spend about 50/mo. on that.
My dad gave me one piece of advice about it. When you get on top pf the wooden post and you are trying to climb and you realize that you are scared of heights. " do not tell the Drill seargant to have sexual intercourse with himself." he said he got written up for that one, and do not ever get into a tussle with an SF. he said he has seen 2 SF's clean out an entire NCO club by themselves. and he said don't ever get ****faced. He said on his 21st birthday he found himself in the slammer for Assault and battery with a deadly weapon and attempted murder. He said keep comtrol of it. i luaghed.

well, I know polo is in the armed forces and he gets on once in awhile. So I would suspect you would say hi also.

the sf guys must be the special forces guys right? don't f**k with those guys. also rangers are the same way. one thing tho, if you don't live in the south get ready for some big time humidty. it sucks. you can be standing in the shade and you will sweat.
