thats sucks i have a friend i went high school with that something like that happned to. All yu can do is be there for your friend.

 

the governement can attempt to tell me whatever they want, and they can also stick their seatbelt laws up their *** and turn it...in my truck, i never wear my seatbelt...my girlfriend i someone who always wears it, but i find it to be uncomfortable, and it should my choice, and no one elses whether i wear it or not...if i am dicking around on the street, or if there is the potential for very high speed driving, i have race harnesses that are properly attached, and when i am buckled in, i cannot move at all in the seat...and i have them in both front seats. also, when i am at the track, i wear the seat belt, only because it is required, but in my opinion, it is pointless, as in that car, if i should lose control at 110+ mph my seatbelts from 1983 arent going to do any good...

but when racing in any situation, i know going in that an error on my part, or more likely the other person, could cause me severe injury or death..and thats racing.

i should say, that i do not recommend that others dont wear seatbelts, as im sure they save lives..or whatever...but as for the governmental laws about it, they are no more than fundraisers to fill the lawmakers pockets

 

i ALWAYS wear my seat belt, and i always b itch at people that dont wear them in my car. and i can also say taht i am guility of the racing once or twice, but not really that much. and when i did there was no one else on the road except for us.

 

Are you from the bay area?? And thats messed up that your friend didnt even apologize. After my accident, the guy was holding me until we could get an ambulance, then came to see me in the hospital after he got his car towed.. But it seemed like once I was out of the hospital we stopped being friends. We went to lunch once, about a week after I got out, and then stopped talking. I think he felt really guilty, cause he also was trying to show off.

And those tunnels are narrow! I had to go to Oakland to pick my bf up, and I get claustraphobic in those things!

I dont wear my seatbelt......never, who is the government to tell me that I have to wear it when it only has the potential to hurt me.

 

I don't wear my seat belt because the government tells me too. I agree that it is not the right of the government to tell me what to do. I wear my seatbelt because it is the only thing that is gonna keep me from ending up in my windshield if i am ever to get into a crash. Seat belts do save lives.
