twin supercharged koenigsegg ccx?
hey guys, does anybody understand how this twin supercharged system would work on the koenigsegg ccx? it seems like each supercharger would have to be running on a different belt, but when i looked up a pic (http://www.koenigsegg.com/graphics/c...ign_engine.jpg) the superchargers are right on top of each other, meaning they must be sharing the same belt. also, its running at abounr 15 psi. can anybody like explain the concept of it to me? why not just run 1 supercharger?

2 blowers is really overkill if anything, but it would work like one really big supercharger, unless the one supercharger was feeding the other one, but the aire would get too hot without an intercooler to provide any benefit, and i don't really understand why anyone would do that.

SC'ers dont need air pushed to them, a TT setup could work like that but not SC'er as they are driven off a belt and not propelled by air. I could see like 2 centrifical(sp?) sc'ers being usefull but what you need 2 cent. chargers to do 1 big *** roots blower can do. and what 1 big *** root's blower can do is able to be done by a single turbo setup. T70's and T88's cam smack down some power, I am talking 2500+hp but weiand 8-71 can also produce a good amount of power.
