i have fear if i fight it.. im gonnaget fined for not having proof of insurance.. which would bite me in the butt i dont need that on my record... haha well the gravel was in the middle lane.. it was there when i wrecked.. its called anti skid..for when theres snow.. which is bull **** they didnt have the lane closed.. but the cop said its assumed that no one would be making a pass...and everyone in clarion would know not to pass there..

that does not matter, I am going through this exact case but I had insurance and the other person did not. I am getting sued for $14,000 for the car I hit. The car i hit is only worth $6000. I tried to push the point that I was not at fault and my lawyer said that is not what is in question, the amount the other car is worth is the question. So using this as an example, the other driver did not have auto insurance and it is does not matter.

Yes, you need to get your freind that seen her car messed up to testify on your behalf. I would also try to get any tickets thrown out on the grounds of lack of proof the cop has that you were speeding. there was a hazard on the road and unless they have a roadsign posted notifying motorist of the hazard then there is no way for you to be able to know that it is there.

 

good point.. cause even the cop/tow truck guy/ fire company said that anti skid ppl are supposed to know that ur not supposed to pass.. i dont take that road much soo i didnt know..he didnt see it messed up though..he saw it after she got it repainted... her car hasnt stopped glistening in a week.. she keeps it washed.. we have never seen it with dirt on it.. and she claims it was dirty..

 

take her to court, too risky not to u mite get screwed over
