Definitely check out some of their tunes, most notably Burn, Take your Best Shot, Survive, and Die Mother F***er Die. I've seen these guys live twice in the last year, and they absolutely amazing. 90% of their show is total blackness with white strobes and smoke, so ****ing intense. The last time I saw them, outta nowhere the lead singer said something along the lines of "Now I'd like to show you my side project, Makeshift Romeo." Two guys from dope went off stage, and two other dudes came on. I fiugred the singer would be singing in this band too, that wasn't the case. He hopped up onto the drums instead, and HOLY ****. I thought he was a good singer/performer, but his drum skills were insane! Definitely on my top 10 list of best performances so far.

you must have watched fast and the furious? (if not thats cool) in the scene where the FBI wrongfully bust the guy while he is having supper with his family, DEBONAIRE by DOPE is the song you will hear (excellent song btw)

 

i didn't know that debonaire was sung by Dope... cool.. and i totally agree with you about teh tom petty song a coupld of others that i like to drive to (and they are also some that were on a top gear survey about the best driving song of all time) are Radar Love - Golden Earring, and Highway Star - Deep Purple,

 

both of those are excellent and make driving a little more fun.
