My dad had a 2005 7 series for the company and just traded it in on a on a cls 500 benz. He bought the 7 series for my mom and aunts to drive when they was doing company related things. I got to take it on 2 trips and I loved it and if it was anyway in the budget at the time I would have got one. But now he has got the cls 500 and I like it alot better and he trade his car that was little over a year old with 12,xxx mile and got the cls and a c-280 even trade. Look at some of the benz's.

Not a big fan here of BMWs. nice cars but the steering is too heavy for my tastes.

as far as styling. rally cars have always been called ugly for good reason. they are.

but when you're rocketing down the road, all those wings and fender bulges and snout openings are for a purpose. to beat that dood in the next lane.

I remember when the original BMW M3s used to be that way. they were basically rodded 318s. super light, super quick.

not so anymore with the new M cars. all are basically sledgehammers when it comes to performance.
steering is indeed heavy, especially in the older ones. This is just meant to give you more road feel and more feedback. 3 and 5-series are considered to be sport sedans.

And whoever said that BMW is a status thing is wrong. They drive wonderfully and you actually get what u pay for. As far as reliability goes - of course Honda will be more reliable then a BMW. Not many car manufacturers come close to Honda or Toyota when it comes to reliability. But I'm still happy with my car - 240k and still pulling strong. i did have numerous suspension problems as well as other wear items (flex disc, cv joints, exhaust, some bushings) due to age.

It can be a status thing for someone who doesnt really appreciate the car. Like you said before, BMWs are well rounded. The look good exterior-wise, the interior is great too. The system sounds great, they have a decent amount of power, and they drive wonderfully. Im gonna go drive various cars, and see what I personally like best. Thanks for everyones advice/opinions, and Ill let you kno wat happens. (Someone wants to come look at my car today)

Sac..I wanted to come up this weekend, but I kno my bf would have gotten mad at me.. I have Friday off so I was thinking either I can come up like Thursday, after work, or Friday depending on wat time you work. And thank you soo much sac! Youre always offering to help me and give me advice!

at least you don't have to drive your baby in a foot of snow for 4 months out of the year like some of us, and then worry about rust because the roads are all salted heavily to melt ice.

if i were you i would keep the si. maybe get better tires for the rain.

Like I said before, if I could afford to keep it and get a better car for the weather, I would in a heartbeat. And Im lucky I dont have to drive it in the snow, but the rain here is horrible. Last night I was gonna go out, and take the beemer like I have been and I didnt even wanna drive that car in this weather. Ive lived in snow, and I kno it can be slick with the ice and wat not, but this rain is awful too. And I put brand new tires on her before winter, and I was still sliding around. I dont want to risk wrecking the Si.
