-Living with someone who apparently hates peace and quite. Jesus H. Christ, I've had a headache for the last two weeks. Music is great when you're in a car, party, or club. Not f*cking every waking minute while not at work

and i dont blast it cause i kno most people dont like it |
True. Sometimes for fun me and my friend blast this band called "Liferuiner" in my car while riding down the street. Has a lot of really loud bass drops and people freak out. That's pretty much why we do it though... people's reactions are priceless.

250cc Ninjas, what's the point?

Its for those who don't trust themselves with a lot of power.

"You're one of those guys that think a 600 is too small, aren't you?"
-seriously, I'm saving up for a ZX-16 Busa killer right now ;) 500s and below have their applications, primarily on the dirt. I don't see the point in that 250s are too light and you're putting up a fight on a windy day or when a large vehicle or truck passes you, or you pass them. Learning to ride on the Lost Coast of California on a 750 gpz I can tell you first hand how a couple extra hundred pounds will make a difference. Secondly, with that lower gearing you're stuck if you're in a quick stop situation and need to take off quickly for that vehicle behind you slamming on its brakes but not going to stop in time. Finally, as a matter of style, they're size reminds me of those kids bikes they used to make that looked like sport bikes with fairings and all. Just to note the tone of this response, I'm just stating an opinion contrary to yours. I'm not looking to start a "flame war" as you mods call it. Seeing you're avatar makes me think you might ride, what are you working with? <---If this is sidetracking from the thread too much, PM me dude! |
I'll agree with you on the aesthetics of the 250r, but I'd still rather see a beginning rider on a 250 or a 500 than a supersport or bigger; I just think it's way too easy to get into trouble with a larger, more responsive bike.
And I haven't ridden in quite some time; got rid of my '01 CBR600 F4i last summer to help pay college expenses. I've ridden friends' bikes since then a little, but not much. I'm looking at getting another CBR next spring, though. Selling that bike was the biggest mistake I've ever made =/ |
-reaper selling his bike.
WTF dude. At least mine got totaled, whats your excuse. =P I agree 100% with reaper. Most people put on a big bike will abuse the power. I know of soo many riders who hated their 600's and go to 900+CC bikes, and end up dumping, and hard. My brother actually owns an 08 Ninja 250. Only issue he has is highway speed and RPM. In 6th gear, he's screaming along at 10,000 RPM, and only going 75. BUT is still gettin 65+mpg. lol. And mad7s, you should look up an old topic '' reasons to wear leathers ''. |
-My mom for not telling me I was allowed to use my savings account to buy a laptop for college. As it turns out, she would've had no problem with me buying a laptop using my money in the bank since it'd have been a college expense. Instead, I sold the bike to get the money (having told her why I was selling it before-hand, to which she said nothing) and found out a few weeks after selling it that I didn't need to. Of course, she hated me having the bike, so I should'nt have been surprised at her misleading me. Manipulative b*tch.
|
I'd be pullin out the money and puttin it in the bike fund!
|
fagg*t newbs who go into the char who do NOT belong there. I'm making a new one

You're right beside it, and all the sudden, out of the corner of your eye, you see a mini van getting closer. That is literally the fastest I've ever gone from 1st to reverse and backed up. I also came d*mn close to doing a burnout in reverse. Moral of the story: handicapped people should not be allowed to own cars, nor should they be given drivers' licenses. If you can't back out of a parking spot without coming inches away from someone's bumper, you shouldn't be driving.
im handycapped and im perfectly able to drive :P srsly |

As far as the fat thing, you admit you're fat, and that's fine. My problem is with the people that make excuses or get offended when you call them fat. To all the extremely overweight people: http://pix.motivatedphotos.com/2008/...u%27re-fat.jpg |
