RonJ, while I know it is not smart to assume 100% that he stole the car, why do you have doubt that he stole the car? The car was stolen, he was found after he crashed it. No info has surfaced (to us) that would indicate anything other than him being the person who stole it. I would say there is a very small chance that he was not the person who stole it.

Also, that car would probably be extremely hard to sell, which raises extreme doubts that he bought it from the thief.

One last thing I would like to add is that the thief did not have the title, so any buyer would obviously know that they were buying stolen property, which in the end is just as bad as stealing it in the first place. So, even if the man who died bought the car from the thief, he still committed a wrong equal to the initial crime made by the thief.

Where did I say that? I said that genes contributing to this trait may produce many positive benefits to the species in the correct context.
in the correct context yes

Did he steal the car? So you are absolutely sure about this one relevant point in your response?
yes he stole the car or was in possesion of a stolen car and would have had to know about it, being that there was no key

I didn't say I doubted that he stole the car, only that there remains a possibility that he didn't until we hear more details. I would guess he's the thief, but there's a possibility that I'm wrong.

Never took a debate class, but science does force you to formulate logical arguments. Is the thread really worthy of a lock? It's been mostly civil. I've gotten out of hand a few times, but nothing too serious in my opinion.

By the way, the debating skills of my opponents is improving so you guys may just be able to tire me out.
