There's more to the story. Apparently this scuffle occurred during an exam. Some kids were talking and being disruptive to the other students. Apparently, the teacher had words with these particular student and ripped his test paper in half. The student waited for the teacher to turn around and through an open bottle of fragrance at the teacher and it spilled on the back of shirt. The teacher turned around again and squarely punched him in the right cheek.

The parents are now pressing charges against the teacher.

 

how'd you find that out? but ****, theres kids where i was at, anger mang't type of place/juvy and one kid was there for beating the **** outta the princpal, sure we as kids should be alil more respectful, which i'm (not to teachers/pigs-aka cops) but disrepect us, and your fighting a 'mini-army'

 

Witnesses to the incident. Teacher didn't deny doing it and neither did the student.

 

if your a teacher, you prolly like being around kids, and should be a role model, end of story no matter what

 

the teacher was totally out of line, but i feel no sympathy at all for the kid. if it were my kid, i would say he deserved it and drop charges. kids are becoming out of control these days. i cant stand these little punks with NO respect for people who are older than them and in positions of authority. if this were two adults out in public, then the "kid" would have been commmiting assault, and the other guy would have been defending himself.

 

look at it from our shoes, we're not getting much respect from authiorty, so why respect them? but yeah some kids do push the line, but getting the dirty look and all from 'older citizens' isn't helping, as i said before i respect older people, expect teachers, pigs and my mom, respect me and we'll be fine

 

Definitely agree that if you want respect, you give respect, however, if an authority figure curses you out, it doesn't mean you have to throttle a bottle at them. There are other ways to get back without violence. Of course, you have to defend yourself always.
