Tail of the Dragon...crazy a$$ road
I saw this on a mazdaprotege forum and holy hell, this road is crazzy...these protege guys are gena be meeting up there and joy riding thru there...i think its somewhere in NC but not sure where exactly. must be damn fun to go thru there..

this has been discussed a couple times here before. itd be awesome to drive it but id **** myself.
that road in the UAE looks sweet and it really doesnt look that hard to navigate. plus you have stone walls on both sides of you at almost all times. looks fun.
is 11 miles as the crow flies or is that 11 miles tracing the road?

There are lots of roads like that around dale hollow lake area in tennessee. Just don't try them in the fall . Corn pickers drop loose corn on every turn and curve. It's just like ball bearings in the road.

check out the tailofthedragon web site, some pretty crazy lookin pics. one of the pics shows an 18 wheeler driving thru there, i dont think i'd wana see one of those guys when im comin in/out of a sharp turn[:@]

There's a really really dope road just down the road from where I'll be this summer. Goes up a mountain, across the top then back down. I'll do some print screens from google maps in a bit.
This is the good part. It goes ono for quite a while and eventually snakes back down a slope but this is the really good part. It's called Grade Road in Valley Center, CA.
