GMC Syclone. My Dad just bought one. Hes raving about it wildly. The only sad part is that they are all autos... Are they really all they're cracked up to be?

 

4.3 liter ( 262 cubic inch ) turbo charged V6 making 280hp and 350 lb-ft tq , stock, on AWD platform. What do you think??

there pretty damn quick out of the box and getting rarer and rarer to find. With a couple bolt on upgrades you can see some good HP increases with those trucks.

They're getting aged. Those vehicles used to be one of the quickest factory vehicles 0-60MPH. I think they were capable of getting there in under 5 seconds. IIRC, they didn't have much payload capacity, and they weren't rated for towing. Vehicles like that seem like a waste of resources to me. Why didn't GM just boost an AWD car, and add selectable lockers to a truck/SUV? Could you imagine a boosted AWD Camaro/TA, or a GMC with airlockers and siped mudders...from the factory?
