Cant be true cause they have to let the next of kin know of his death before releasing it to the media.

Ok, it's time for me to be the devil's advocate. It was only a matter of time before something like this happened to him. He kept putting himself in dangerous situations so in my opinion he got what was coming to him.

Brutal but true.

It was a freak accident, If he had been messing with a croc or snake then yes, but although stingrays can be dangerous they are calm mellow creatures.

It is international after all and they did let the immidiate fmaily know. Wife probably knows by now.

Thats too bad, every last penny from the movie he made a few years ago went to animal shelters in the USA and Australia. Gotta respect someone who isnt greedy like the rest of us...RIP

I'm not saying it isn't a tragedy, but Steve Irwin new the dangers he put himself in before filming any of his shows. I don't agree that he got what was coming, no one deserves a freak accident like that.

I am gonna miss new shows from him though...

Its def one of those things where we all knew he was going to get it eventually. But oddly, everybody is shocked.

Yea it's like if I were to go play on I-40 at 3 in the morning in all black clothes all the time and being shocked I got hit by a 18 wheeler going 70mph.
