its definently a scam. the car would not be that cheap. even 5grand is way to low. plus anyone who says they will handle the shipping is usually a scammer. it costs quite a lot of money to ship a car especially if its a long distance
id do what everyones telling you and stay away

 

Just man up and send the dude in the UK $5,000 for a $18,000+ car that's in Ohio. What could go wrong?

Okay Me and my dad had a similir situation a few years ago, we were looking to buy a new drag Banshee to race in sand drags. Well we found one for about $3k heres the catch the bike was in New York and he was in switzerland. The bike had a 80HP motor wich is not bad for a 300 pound 4-wheeler, However we were going to build something that would pull a easy 150HP so this bike would have been a good start. Well we were going to use an escrow servive well we sent the money to the escrow service, and guess what happened. An insurance company sends the check back saying they dont know why they received this check and that they are not an escrow service. We tried contacting the owner of the bike and no more reply. Thankfully all we lost was our time.

So Im trying to say this is probably a scam
