well ...
feul door wont open until theres negative force pulling it out when i pull the feul door lever.
the hatchback trunk wont open until i pop it open then force it up. (might be a jam)
third center tail light broke off.
glossy white paint is starting to chip.
valve cover is leaking
radio needs a code to work
no boost gauge
shifter isnt aligned to little hole in the center consol.
steering wheel shakes alot
and a few more ... i forgot.

im trying to make it look like it just got out of the factory ... but as you can see ... i got a LONG way to go ...

 

how much did you pay for this car?

 

bought it for 2800, it has a stock turbo engine 120,000 miles. car was sold as is, so i dont know ANYTHING wrong with it except what i listed above.

I like the 2nd gen eclipses, test drove a 97 gs-t a couple years ago. Sucks cause im 6'5" and i swear those cars are built for people 5'10" and under.

 

if there are any differences it is very small, I have a friend that has both a talon tsi and an eclipse (not the gsx though) and he can take every thing from the talon off and bolt it on the eclipse without any problems. so other then some body differences yes they are the same car.

 

ok im done thread jacking, lol. yes the whole exterior is interchangeable but every bumper and side trim piece and the taillights and wing and even the 2 tone paint that came stock on talons. that is minor to you? imo it makes it a completely diff car being as how i can tell the diff like night and day betweeen a talon and a eclipse from a mile away. anyways this is stupid arguing over something as small as this. i just like talons more.....

 

LOL , yeah I personaly like the talon better too, but to me just a few changes to the exterior to the car does not really constatute as a new car. but then again you could view it the same as the pontiac solstice and the saturn sky. totaly different exterior but when you start to break down the chasis and so forth it's basically the same car. granted if I'm wrong and you can prove it please let me know via PM or something becuase I don't like to be wrong and look stupid, and actually would like to be educated instead of ridiculed.
