Skip my first class and go see the concert?

Skip my first class and go see the concert?
Well, Thursday is one of my all time favorite bands. They don't tour that often. Tuesday they're coming to Mr. Smalls which is the local about 20 minutes away from my house. My friend bought me a ticket assuming I'm going to see them play... although my business class is from 6-9 and it's the first day for the class! My options now are... skip and go to the concert, go to class and miss the concert, or go to class and lie to the teacher saying I have to leave early. Leaving early would only leave me in class for about 45 minutes though.
Thursday is playing with Murder By Death, Fear Before The March Of Flames, and HeavyHeavyLowLow.
Go to www.myspace.com/thursday to see all the bands...
I'm leaning towards leaving class early. I can't miss this concert.

Hmm... last semester I missed one of my first classes and I got kicked out of the class and had to re-register. I'll just email the teacher and give him some bull**** reason...

here's a bit of advice: you're only young once. so live it up while you can.
once you graduate, it's all downhill with bills, tuition repayment, taxes, marriage, mortgages, blah, blah, blah...

and The only way I'm getting married is if I knock some girl up.[8D]
Don't worry, I'm going. I was silly to doubt myself and think maybe I would do something responsible.
