No kidding?! You're relatives don't have anything to do with the police departments up there do they? My girlfriend's Dad is the city Leuitenant, and her brother is a Detective for the Sherriff's department.

 

w00t. I can't wait to hit the slopes again. I didn't get to go much last year simply because I was really timid. I had a pretty bad accident two years ago. I was with four of my friends and Hidden Valley had just opened up some new sections. I wasn't familiar with one I went down and carried way too much speed at the end. I lost it and fell. On the way down, my pole stuck in the ice and rammed me in the chest. It knocked the wind out of me and left a bruise the size of my fist. I hit a sheet of ice face first and was knocked out on impact. Nobody was near me when I fell, but by the time I came to, everyone was there. They said I was out for a few minutes. I had a mild concussion from it and was really lightheaded. The next morning, I walked over to take a shower and didn't make it. I blacked out in the hallway and woke up in the hospital. I really don't want that to happen again lol.

 

F**k yeah! Snowboarding is the greatest thing ever... next to driving.

I'm goin' to Whistler again this year. Went last year and I was also a little timid cause I broke my collarbone in January of '04, which put me out of everything for like 6 months. I was cutting across a really powdery face, but I didn't know if had a sheet of ice underneath. Well, my toe end went right into a little ice ledge, and I just went *** over teakettles. I flipped one and a half times and landed upside down on my neck, and my collarbone just seperated right next to my ribcage. But I found out that accidents like that really boost your confidence in the long run, and I was pretty flawless last season... I think you'll be fine se7en.

 

Heres a side question, still pretty much on topic tho.

Of all you snowboarders (and skiers i guess), what kind of riders are you? Freestyle, Halfpipe, Pow-shredders, etc...


I personally go for downhill freestyle. I live in the park

 

theres a side of me that loves getting that feeling after you just landed your first 540 of the season...but theres another part of me that says you cant beat bombing a 650ft. 55 degree drop.

 

i do some boarding, but i'm alot more into skating and surfing (have pics of that too if anyone wants to see). heres a pic of when i went out to copper mountain for spring break with some buddies. it's a cork 720 on their middle kicker (30ft i think)
