Regardless, Palin is still an air head and a complete idiot. I've been hearing news about Palin running by herself on a 2012 ticket for president. The Republican party needs to rebuild and one way not to rebuild is let Palin anywhere near an office of any importance. They should really tell her to go back to Alaska and stay there.

I couldn't agree more. I just didn't want anyone reading this thread to think that this rumor was true, even though I am an ardent Obama supporter.

Palin is not a airhead I dont think, I think she does in fact do good things for her state. I dont think she should bee a VP or a President but that does not mean I dont agree with some of the things she has proposed. Drilling in ANWR is a good idea and the politics need to be cut out of it simply because we should be open to anything that helps move us towards energy independence. I think what the republican party is doing to her as far as this smear campaign is bs, immature, nasty polotics and in the end that is why they got killed on all fronts in this election(from the local elections, to the senete and house elections)

This demonstrates to me that the republicans are stuck in the old school political system that for one has gotten us in the trouble we are in and for two has served to give the world a reson to look down on us. Maybe the party is the problem..............not her.

And I was/am a Obama supporter

i don't want the republican party to rebuild
hey if they never figure out what they're doing wrong and consequentially don't get any cameral majority or high offices, maybe the country will actually get somewhere

Not sure what you are saying Marty. I couldn't be happier that Obama is the president elect and that democrats control both the House and the Senate. This much power can be used wisely or unwisely. The burden on democrats now is proper exploitation of this power by making sound decisions. If mistakes are made, it could be very damaging to the democratic party, much like what is currently happening to the republican party.
