Hey guys, I'm sitting in my hotel typing this wirelessly from my brand new laptop I got earlier this week. Anyways, I'm here at indy and today was awesome. You wouldn't normally think much would go on on a thursday before the race, but you'd be surprised how exciting today was. They held live interviews with the drivers and I got to get within feet of the greats (including Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, Nico Rosber). I can upload vids when I got back, I forgot to bring cables for my camera so I can't transfer to my computer.

One interesting thing is that the interviews were done in pairs by team, except for Lewis Hamilton and Alonso, they came out individually one after the other. Kinda weird I thought, maybe some inter-team conflict? Just interesting. I also got to take some pictures of the cars on display today (there were hot models at all the cars as well!)

Tomorrow is practice and I can't wait to go watch, I'll make sure to keep yall updated, and then maybe upload all my pics and vids when I get back.

It really has been amazing to see how many people are so obsessed with these drivers. It's really hard to believe how big a mob forms at the track when it is heard that a driver is going to be exiting in a particular place or at a particular time. They get mobbed everytime they show their faces. Some have been very kind and signed 10-15 autographs at a time before running off, but others just ignore everyone and go there way. It's really interesting to see what these guys are really like.

No dude, not indy racing, this is the united states grand prix at Indy. It is formula 1 cars, the only time every year that they come to the United States. F1 is much cooler than indy cars. If none of yall have ever heard a formula 1 car, really guys, make the time to one time go in you life to a race wherever it be. I cannot explain how amazing it is to hear a car rev to 19,000 rpm.

im in love with formula 1, i tape every single race, and today was awesome!! this guy Hamilton its just good!! this promises to be a great f-1 year!! no schumi yea!!

Formula 1 is the pinacle of motorsport. right now, V8's doing no more than 19.000rpm (they are restricted!) 2 years ago, V10 960+ bph and well over 19.000rpm.

a lil fact: did you know that everytime a formula 1 driver aplies the brakes they lit up to an amazing 1200 degrees C! plus a formula 1 car doing 125mph can stop in as lil as 55 meters and it takes about 1.9 seconds... if you want to know more just ask!
