I'm not talking long term reliability, most people who spend that much on a car usually will have a new one in 2-3 years anyways; and frankly looks are subjective. I hate the way the s2000 looks. The girl that works next door has a silver one, the thing just doesnt look like a $32k car to me. I'd much rather have an infiniti g35 or 350z(I know totally differant cars, but the roadster/coffin on wheels thing doesnt really appeal to me either.

I was simply offering up here is a car that would have been in the same-if-not-lower price bracket, same vehicle class, and maybe same handling(GXP has an upgraded suspension). I'm saying here is a car with more horsepower, and the torque to back it up. It would have been a direct competitor to the s2000.

You sure about that? Cause its a pretty popular car. And whats gonna replace it? It seems funny that Honda would get rid of both the NSX and the S2000.

Rumor has it it's going to a mid engine roadster. And the NSX will be replaced with a V10 supercar aimed at the F430.

I'm really nervious about the S2000 replacement because I love that thing so much. If Honda does as good of a job as the S2000 in a mid engine package I think it'll be ok though.

Mid engines are good, but there aren't too many of them in the 30K region. If it turns out that the next S2K is even better than the old one, i would be pissed if i had jus bought one.

i think theyre actually taking away the s2000 and moving its predicessor up to the old NSX spot. thats why they can afford to have a mid engine and hit the price range they want.
