poly is back on the ROAD

Back at the end of August (when I was still on stock suspension) there was an autocross in the rain (on an old runway . . . LOTS of pavement). There was an optional slalom going into a 90 degree left turn, my first 3 runs I took the easy in / hard out, last 2 runs I took the hard in / easy out and carried WAYYY too much speed into the turn, stupidly braked while turning and did a HUGE 360 . . . twice. So I lost what could have been 2 decent runs, but I laughed it off, and I learned what NOT to do. There was no oncoming traffic, there were no curbs to hit. BTW, that $688 would have bought you a nice helmet, four brand new tires, one year's SCCA membership, and entry fees to more than a full season's worth of events.
