you deserve to have that much damage to your car for 'drifting' around on a public street at 40-60 mph. be thankful thats all that happened. be thankful you didnt snap the whole axle and kill your transmission. be thankful you didnt flip and total your car...or die. be thankful you didnt run into a tree or lightpost and die. be thankful you didnt hit another car and kill the people inside. you are so stupid for putting yourself in that kind of situation it kills me. it blows my mind that people can honestly be that stupid at times.
may sound harsh but nails right...and may i ask, why u were trying to drift in a civic??

Yeah dont drift in public roads. But it is easier in the snow or rain in an empty parking lot. You save your tires a little also, and its very fun.

Well for 1 you cant drift in a civic. 2, someone should take your keys away from you...the road is not your personal racetrack...way to give import drivers a bad name.

Back at the end of August (when I was still on stock suspension) there was an autocross in the rain (on an old runway . . . LOTS of pavement). There was an optional slalom going into a 90 degree left turn, my first 3 runs I took the easy in / hard out, last 2 runs I took the hard in / easy out and carried WAYYY too much speed into the turn, stupidly braked while turning and did a HUGE 360 . . . twice. So I lost what could have been 2 decent runs, but I laughed it off, and I learned what NOT to do. There was no oncoming traffic, there were no curbs to hit. BTW, that $688 would have bought you a nice helmet, four brand new tires, one year's SCCA membership, and entry fees to more than a full season's worth of events.
