Please help me with this paper!
My lovely communications professor has assigned a research paper in place of our final exam this semester. She notified us of this change yesterday and the paper is due in one week. I love it when they do this.
Anyway, I need the help of all of you people that have harsh opinions concerning social and political activism. The paper will focus on outlining the problem with activism and its effects on the decisions of our government in the United States. Specifically, the decisions that are made that prevent good changes because of the opinions and actions of these groups.
If any of you have a beef about anything that is in this ballpark, spit it out here.
*Anything that you put here I may use in this paper, you could be famous. Ok, maybe not famous, but still, gripe away.
Thanks.
Nick

I don't agree that political parties will be the downfall of American democracy, but i do think that there should be more than two parties. These two parties are way to big. I think that a better system would be to have 3,4,5,20 political parties. But the way the government and election type stuff is set up in this country, two parties are the only thing we can really have.

This is sort of an opinion paper.
There are more than two political parties. In fact, last election there were nominees from five parties. The Democratic and the Republican parties are just the biggest ones, so they recieve more publicity.
I think I need to post a new thread with a more specific question. I will do that right now.
If you want to continue a rant about the political parties here, feel free to continue and I will add my 3 cents every so often.

There may technically be 5 parties in the United States. But here is the thing, only two of the parties hold any actual parties. You can have a 10 cylinder engine but if 8 of the fuel injectors don't do anything (or spray very little fuel), only 2 cylinders are really running and doing anything. The United States till runs on (and i think will always run on) a two party system.
