id take a C6 vette over an NSX any day

 

hmmm..i would have to see an SRT10 go head to head with an NSX and lose before i would believe that....i know that horsepower isnt everything, but it isnt like the viper is a sled around the corners..

 

I know, the viper does well in the corners... as well as a car with a huge V10 up front can, anyways.

And yes, the C6 Z06 is a new dream car of mine... amazing.

The NSX however, strikes me as an Exotic. Vipers and Corvettes, do not.

 

flame on, but ive never been impressed with the NSX...i can think of plenty of cars that i would rather have for the money

The C6 is a masterpiece... my only gripe is that it looks like a viper, comin' at you.
But yes, the C6 Z06 is a monster, for what it costs.

It's a monster, period. The NSX to me... I mean, it doesnt blow me away... it surely isnt THAT fast... 270 hp or something fairly lackluster? But it's styling... Japanese Ferrari. It's sex on wheels, aesthetically. So factor in drop dead gorgeous styling, and 'adequete' performance... and I'm sold.

And it's important to note that the NSX aged VERY well... It and the 300zx are two cars that to me, look just as good today, as they did rolling out of the showrooms!

 

I didn't intend for this thread to start an NSX vs the world thread. I just wanted to show everyone Joes new ride and show off my photography skills a little. I'm not trying to add fuel to the fire, but you all forget how groundbreaking the NSX was in 1991. It changed the world of cars as we know it. The NSX introduced Vtec to the world, it was the first production car to use titanium connecting rods and it set the golden standard for supercar reliability. The NSX remained virtually unchanged in its 15 year model run, and the world was still trying to catch up. Yes, the NSX has shown its age, but in 1991 it was the most mechanically groundbreaking car on the market. And the shape and design are timeless, IMHO.

 

Yep yep! Shape and design are indeed timeless!

And apparently, the NSX has one of the greatest gearboxes EVAR! They must be a blast to drive... I've only been in one, and it was in a Honda showroom... the car was 10~ years old, and had 8000 km on it... it was like 78 000 bucks (CDN) or something. I cant remember, was over a year ago.

 

headshok, come on...why spend 30g on that when you could have a bright yellow saleen!!
