seriously? Damn. What really shocked me about those pics is that it feels like a big ghost town. Those huge buildings seem to be abandoned. The pic that shows the ocean with electric fence in foreground is also pretty damn depressing. I cant even describe how sorry I feel for those poor bastards that have to endure it for their whole life.

Well, perhaps you can find some comfort in knowing they think it's the greatest country in the world. Too all those who don't know, North Koreans are born and raised to believe the rest of the world outside their country is in a state of constant kaos and war. They're so cut off from the rest of the world it actually works. They believe North Korea is a paradise on earth. Word is gradually getting out this isn't true about the rest of the world and that life in North Korea blows, via underground movement of media importing across the North Korean-China border, from young people that have discovered the truth after crossing the border themselves. It's slow moving though, because the North Korean government is constantly fighting the movement, and a lot of the people are hard to convince, which you may think is stupid, but try to imagine someone you've never met coming to you and trying to convince you that everything you've ever been raised to believe in is wrong.
